MCU Public Meeting: #WhenTheySeeUsSTL

Changing the narrative around Black Youth and families that are court involved.

Register your attendance:  https://bit.ly/2nMsFOy

Our Agenda:

  • Raise the Age NOW!: Join the coalition that passed the law to keep 17 year olds out of adult jails in 2021 BUT we must begin work NOW! Join the demand for local officials to NOT wait until 2021.
  • St. Louis City Commission on Youth and Children: Join the demand to restore the St. Louis City Mayor’s Office Commission on Children and Youth, and Families. Also the immediate hire of a Commissioner of Youth Services
  • Unlock the Vote MO!: Let Missourians join Florida and Wisconsin in the movement to return voting rights to persons who are on probation and parole. That means 60,000 Missouri citizens! This also includes an addendum to update privacy laws for youth who have completed  juvenile probation BUT are still experiencing negative consequences.

Encourage youth, families, churches, schools and the community to share their great stories about Black Youth. Use the hashtag:
