MEDICAID EXPANSION UPDATE:
The Cole County Circuit Court this week rejected the frivolous lawsuits filed against our campaign, reaffirming that Amendment 2 / Medicaid Expansion will remain on the August 4 ballot.
We are pleased these frivolous lawsuits have been dismissed and Missourians will finally have an opportunity on August 4, to support Missouri’s economy by protecting thousands of frontline healthcare jobs at a time we need them most.
While this is a distressing time, today’s ruling brings us closer to delivering healthcare to more than 230,000 Missourians. We will continue to stand up for the right of all Missourians to vote on this important issue.

New Northside Missionary Baptist Church and MCU in partnership with Sierra Club National, and the STL Mutual Aid Network is receiving 100,000 PPEs (masks) from the St. Louis County Public Health Department. New Northside is a distribution hub for surrounding congregations and community members in the County.
PPEs will be available at New Northside MBC in the coming week. At this time, only St. Louis County congregations are eligible to receive them. PPEs are available in packages of 10. Please contact Karen Harvey at 314-381-5730 to make a request with how many packages you need, and to coordinate a socially distanced pick-up time at New Northside’s ministry center in Jennings.
Offer these PPEs to your members when they come to worship face to face or other activities. Offer them to folks who haven’t gotten out because they don’t have proper PPEs. Offer them to food pantry and shelter guests. Offer them to folks in your neighborhood.
Congregations already represent anchors in their communities through their social and spiritual support as well as sometimes economic and basic needs support (ie. food banks). Becoming a Mutual Aid Neighborhood Pod can build upon an existing congregation ministry or create a new ministry.

Amendment 1 Threatened at the Ballot Box
Get ready to defend your hard work! Amendment 3 has the ability to gut Clean Missouri.
The Missouri Legislature decided they liked gerrymandered district more than the will of the voters in Missouri. To that end, legislators decided AGAIN that voters don’t know what they’re doing and Dirty Missouri was born. It will be called Amendment 3 on the November ballot and it wil undo the provisions of our Clearn Missouri/Amendment 1.
