Jammin 4 Justice @ Home III Set For September 25

See a wonderful live performance and support Metropolitan Congregations United on September 25th at 8:00 p.m. Soul and R&B Sensation Gene Jackson was kind enough to step in when Kim Massey had to withdraw due to health issues. Gene will wow you with his rich, soulful, and emotional vocal range. His album “1963” came out in 2017 to critical acclaim, including a Blues Blast nomination (New Artist Debut). Gene’s new album is scheduled to be released in October. The September event also features our biggest raffle of the Summer Series.  The Covid Coping Kit Raffle Prize is worth over $200 and includes gift cards for dinner, a certificate for a massage, $50 worth of wine, and more.

Event tickets and raffle chances are available at https://squareup.com/store/mcu. When you buy a pass to the concert you will receive a receipt immediately. Then 24 hours or so before the concert you’ll get an email that includes the link to the Zoom event. Share the event on your favorite social media platforms and invite your friends! The Summer Series supports artists who have been left without venues, local businesses hurt by the Covid pandemic and MCU’s antiracist work. The more people who come to enjoy the music, the more money we raise, and the more good we do for our community! Hope to see you at Jammin’ (on Zoom)!
